Cyprus becomes 27th country to take up PowerPlay Golf
January 15th, 2010 by PowerPlay Golf
The first 18 hole golf course in Northern Cyprus, Korineum Golf and Country Club, has become the first club in Cyprus to embrace golf’s short format.
Carved from the natural forest with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea on one side, and breath taking views of the famous Five Finger Mountain range on the other, Korineum Golf & Country Club is enjoyable for all abilities regardless of fiendish black flag positions.
PowerPlay Golf is now being played in 27 countries soon to be 28 with France expecting their first Official Venue early next week.
Players wanting to feel the excitement of PowerPlay Golf at Korineum Golf and Country Club should view the Cyprus country page for full contact details.

An excellent venue for this format. The course designed by David Hemstock is a gem course in the northen part of the Island , and having played all grass green courses on the island it is the best by far , it maybe rivalled by the new Nick Faldo which will open sometime this year near Paphos airport.
The course itself takes four five times to play well as the sites and views are simply breath taking especially if you are an early riser .
The perefered Nine is the front as it lends itself very well to the Power Play format, and as the club has a strong thriving memebership , who play alot of competitions Power play is added as fun stoke very seroius format.
