Run an Official Event

HOW TO RUN AN OFFICIAL POWERPLAY GOLF EVENT

FOR GOLF CLUBS & COURSES

Step 1 - Getting Started
Apply for your PowerPlay Golf Club Pack.
This costs £50 and contains everything you need to set up your course for an event - special white and black flags, promotional posters, window sticker, pocket rules guides, and your Organiser's Guide. Register your club with us as an 'Official Venue' or 'Super Venue'.
On reciept of your Club Pack you are eligible to run your own PowerPlay Golf events.



Step 2 - Event Promotion
Tell us the dates and times of all your official events. We list these events on the official PowerPlay Golf website. We email our database of registered PowerPlayers in your area, if you are looking for entries. We help publicise Open events, Members-only events and PowerPlay Golf green fee sales. We'll also produce a press release, free of charge, to help promote your event in the local media.

Step 3 - The Day of the Event
As players register for the Official Event brief them on the rules, view the event starters guide, and collect players email addresses. You may find it helpful to download the PowerPlay Golf Official Event Start Sheet to collect all competitors data. Click here to download it. Also be sure to give each player a pocket rules guide.

Step 4 – After the Event
After holding a PowerPlay Official Event, we would like you to enter your event scores directly onto the PowerPlay Golf website. View the scores portal here.
