Graeme McDowell and Paula Creamer – both current US Open Champions. And three other Major-winners, seven Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup superstars. Over 300 Tour victories under their belts. Plus three rookie Tour pros, looking to make a name against one of the greatest fields assembled in golf history.
Facing them were nine holes on the course which hosted the most thrilling Ryder Cup in history in 2010. Two flags on each green – the White Flag, and the Black Flag. Their challenge: three PowerPlays to the Black in the first 8 holes … double points for birdie or better on a PowerPlay … before Decision Time on the 9th. Go for a last-hole PowerPlay – but bogey or worse means disaster.
